For Linux Users


1. You can download the free Linux package of the 123LiveHelp here:
http://www.123flashchat.com/live-chat-download.html .
Click the Linux button and download installer file: 123livehelp.sh

You can also download with this command under the linux environment:
$ wget http://www.123flashchat.com/download/123livehelp.sh

2. Execute the following commands:
sudo chmod +x 123livehelp.sh
sudo ./123livehelp.sh

When you executed the above commands, the system will give you some prompts to complete the installation.
Please follow those prompts exactly so that the successful installation is guaranteed.

3. Start the server
If neccessary, start the server with this command: sudo ./start

4. Stop the server
If neccessary, you can stop the server with this command:
sudo ./stop

5. Restart the server
If there is a setting changed, it is neccessary for you to restart the 123 Live Help to apply this new setting. Here is the command for you to restart the server:
sudo ./restart

6. Adjust the memory allocation for the server as follows:
Use this command: vi lhserver_core.vmoptions, to open the file lhserver_core.vmoptions. At the last line of this file, there is a symbol "#". Remove it and adjust the value followed by the XMx. Then save your adjustments and restart the server.
